Seattle

So I have finally decided that I should blog.... crazy huh! I think that it will help me occupy some of my time and give me something to do.  Then you can see what fun and exciting things I am doing.  Thank you to Jeanna for helping me figure this out and helping me with the name of my blog.  So here goes nothin.... I hope you all enjoy! :)

Seattle

This last week has been quite the adventure.  My family and I all went on an Alaskan Cruise.  It was so much fun.  To start the trip out we flew into Seattle.  Kendall ended up on a different flight then us because of some confusion with one of his Professors at school. But once we all got to Seattle we walked around down town and went to the Space Needle.  We went up the elevator to the top of the Space Needle and walked around and took some awesome pictures.  The sun was setting so it was really pretty up there.  After that we went to an Irish Pub for dinner and had fish and chips! Delicious!  Kendall and me stayed in with my Dad and Mom for the night.  Holy Cow I got no sleep between my Dad snoring and Kendall staying up late to do a test just after midnight.  All I heard all night was the sawing of logs and the typing of keys on the keyboard.  I really should have brought my ipod to listen to.  Kendall needed to get his test turned in before we boarded the ship, so he had a really late night that Thursday.  (and so did the rest of us)

Finally once morning came we all got ready and headed to the ship.  The cruise ship was huge! We had to stand in line forever to board the ship.  They make you check in and show your passports and all that good stuff.  When we were in line there was a group of older ladies that kept chatting with us from New York! They were all so cute and I loved there accents!  Dad kept telling them that for fifty bucks they could jump the line. They thought about it for a minute and tried to negotiate a price.  It was funny.
Finally after a couple of hours we made it on board!! Yay! We went to our rooms and got everything put away and then headed up top to eat.  After lunch we went up and hung out on the top deck for when we departed.  It was really sunny at first and then all of a sudden it got really windy and and it started to sprinkle. Some of the pics show how windy it was by how my hair looked! :) We still had a lot of fun and stayed out there for awhile.  We were excited to say goodbye to Seattle and looking forward to ALASKA!
